Invisalign is an orthodontic technique using transparent or invisible shells that are custom-made for each patient and which allow orthodontic corrections to be made by progressively moving the teeth, a series of invisible (transparent) shells are made from models of the malocclusion (dentition to be corrected) of the patient and these shells are changed at regular intervals until the final position of the teeth is reached.
